Cold File Review with Advice and Training

This service is designed to offer immediate feedback to a wider audience and can cover a range of issues. The key features are as follows:

  • One day visit on site.
  • Two cold file reviews.
  • Verbal analysis and feedback* to identify weaknesses and advise on the opportunities for development and improvement.
  • Open question and answer session* on individual files, general procedures or technical matters.

Each visit will include a verbal de-brief meeting with the partners and managers. This is an important part of the service and will highlight the key points arising from the reviews as well as the recommended action to be taken. Any comments of the partners and managers will be incorporated into the report as appropriate.

For those files that are reviewed in house, the reviewer will follow up the report with a telephone call to explain the key matters arising and any action points to be taken.

*These sessions can be for 2 to 25 members of staff. Some practices prefer partner involvement only, whilst others see it as an opportunity to obtain tailored advice and consultancy to a broader range of the team. The objective is to provide an informal atmosphere to promote free and open discussion of matters relevant to the audit process.

Cost
£1,150 per day

All prices are stated exclusive of VAT and travelling expenses (where applicable).
