Training
> Courses > There
are three good reasons why you should commit to training all of your staff!
- New
starters will be immediately effective in the office
- 'On the job' training
time is kept to a minimum
- Senior staff can concentrate on chargeable
work
The courses provide a basic introduction for staff with
little or no prior knowledge of the subject. This does not mean they are only
suitable for those who are 'new' to the profession. For example, 'Sage Set Up and Processing Cycles' may be relevant to someone who has been in the profession 15 years but
has never used Sage. Equally, it may be relevant for someone who has recently
joined the profession.
They are also designed to extend participants' existing
knowledge. The level of assumed knowledge will vary from course to course but
is set out in the course details. The case studies and discussion exercises used
on these courses will ensure participants have the opportunity to practice the
new skills they are taught. Areas covered include:
Prices:
Prices start from £52.50 plus VAT. Included in Membership.
Feedback:
The performance of all staff attending these courses will be monitored and a brief
report will be submitted to the training partner, if required.
Excellent speakers:
All the speakers will be drawn from Mercia's own lecturing team. This consists
of 18 experienced lecturers many of whom are qualified accountants and thus fully
appreciate the work carried out in a professional office. Quality documentation:
Comprehensive course notes support each presentation. Highly participative:
The courses are designed to stimulate ideas. Through group discussions, role plays
and the use of videos participants are encouraged to think about what they do
and why they do it. To achieve this objective we limit the number of participants
to ensure the necessary low participant to tutor ratio. |
