John is the Managing Director! He joined the company in 1982 as the sole employee and has built Mercia into the UK’s leading independent service provider to the accountancy profession with over 3000 clients and 70 members of staff. John continues to lecture on Mercia courses, as this remains the part of the job he enjoys the most.

As well as eing married to Lynn and having three grown-up daughters, John finds time to go to the gym, play tennis, golf and bridge and walk his two dogs!
